About Etiwanda
History meets newer neighborhoods
Etiwanda, on the northeast side of Rancho Cucamonga, began as an agricultural colony in the 1880s and is one of the oldest communities in the area. It joined Alta Loma and Cucamonga to form the city of Rancho Cucamonga in 1977.
Today Etiwanda mixes historic properties with newer neighborhoods built over the past few decades, with homes ranging from established single-family streets to more recent construction in the north and east.
