About Corona

Corona, Riverside County

Corona sits in western Riverside County, where the Santa Ana Mountains meet the Inland Empire. Incorporated in 1896, it's known as the "Circle City" for Grand Boulevard, the circular road around its historic downtown, and it was once a major center of lemon growing.

Today Corona has everything from older homes near downtown to newer neighborhoods in the south, with many residents commuting toward Orange County and across the Inland Empire.
